Mukti means Salvation & Nath means God , hence Muktinath means god of Salvation & considered of the 108 shakti Peeth which is located in Mustang District of Nepal 200km from Pokhara . Muktinath is a Vishnu temple, sacred to both Hindus and Buddhists & considered  one of the world’s highest temples.

Muktinath can be reached by both road & by air but as the Jomsom airport being in the remote mountainous area small aircrafts & only very few flights can be operated there ,lot of pilgrimage prefer to reach there by road . Though conditions of road is not so good & its a rigorous  journey but once you reach there you forget everything .

As per rule Indian vehicles are not allowed to go to Muktianth hence we change our vehicles at Pokhara & need permits for both road & air travel as well .

Distance From Gorakhpur:

India -Nepal Border (Sunauli)- 100km (3Hrs)

Lumbini-130km (4hrs)

Pokhara Via Palpa-280km (10 hrs) & Via Narayanghat -260km Approx. (12hrs)

Kathmandu -380km (11hrs)

Chitwan-240km (6hrs)

Muktinath -380km (16hrs)

Those arriving in Gorakhpur are advised to reach early in the morning so they can travel to Pokhara or any other city of Nepal same day without wasting any time.

Nepal can be visited through out the year but as weather October to March remains best season to Visit Nepal as its a winter time  & April, May also a peak season as there are school vacations in India .

Gorakhpur -Lumbini-Chitwan being in plain area (Tarai Region) weather gets very hot in summer but Kathmandu & Pokhara remain in the average of 30 dc at day time & at night dips to 20 Degree .

Gorakhpur to Bhairahawa (3Hrs) or LUMBINI
Upon the arrival at Gorakhpur Airport/ Railway station you will be met by our representative and transferred to Bhairahawa which is 3hrs from Gorakhpur. Overnight stay at hotel.

Lumbini Tour & Transfer to Pokhara (7Hrs)
Today after breakfast check out from your hotel & proceed for the lumbini tour which is a birth place of lord Gautam Buddha after that you will be transfer to Pokhara  which is 7hrs drive , reach the hotel , overnight at the Hotel

Transfer Pokhara to Jomsom (9hrs)
After early breakfast at 07:00 am transfer to Jomsom which is a gateway to Muktinath & takes around  9  hrs to reach. Overnight at hotel in Jomsom.

Transfer Muktinath to Pokhara
Early in the morning  at around 5 am transfer to Muktinath for  darshan which 45 min drive & need to walk for 30 minutes to reach main temple ,if one cant walk then a pony can be hired there at own expanses  & After breakfast return to pokhara, overnight at pokhara hotel.

City Tour Of Pokhara & Transfer to Kathmandu
After Breakfast Proceed For full Day City Tour Of Pokhara Which Will Cover Davis Fall,Gupteshwor Mahadev ,Fewa Lake, Bindabasini temple, boat ride  & Transfer to Kathamndu  . Overnight at hotel.

Pokhara to Kathmandu(7Hrs)
Today after breakfast you will be transfer back to Kathmandu which is 7hrs journey from pokhara . Reach the hotel & rest of the day is free . Overnight stay at hotels .

Kathmandu Pilgrimage (7hrs)
Today, after breakfast your pilgrimage starts with the darshan of  Pashupatinath & after that we will visit nearby Guheswori mandir which is one of the 51 shaktee peeth . After lunch we will continue our yatra to Jalnarayan & Saga mahadev . in the evening return to Hotel ,overnight stay .

Kathmandu To Sunauli
After early breakfast at 07:00 am transfer to Sunauli (Bhairahawa) Nepal side border on the way vsit Manokamana Temple on your own , reach hotel & overnight stay .

Departure to Gorakhpur
After Breakfast you will be transferred to Gorakhpur to  catch your train/flight  as per your schedule. If your train or flight is in the evening then we can have a optional tour of lumbini as well.
