Muktinath Yatra By Road in 6Nights

Mukti means Salvation & Nath means God , hence Muktinath means god of Salvation & considered of the 108 shakti Peeth which is located in Mustang District of Nepal 200km from Pokhara . Muktinath is a Vishnu temple, sacred to both Hindus and Buddhists & considered  one of the world’s highest temples.

Muktinath can be reached by both road & by air but as the Jomsom airport being in the remote mountainous area small aircrafts & only very few flights can be operated there ,lot of pilgrimage prefer to reach there by road . Though conditions of road is not so good & its a rigorous  journey but once you reach there you forget everything .

Kathmandu is located at 1350mtrs from sea level where as Pokhara is 800mtrs from sea level which makes it little bit tougher for Indian travelers at Muktinath which is at mammoth altitude of 3800mtrs from sea level . If one goes by air to muktianth from Pokhara tend to have altitude sickness compare to those travelling by road as they get time acclimatize with altitude .

Hence by road journey may be tedious but safe for senior citizens to avoid altitude sickness.

Nepal can be visited through out the year but as weather October to March remains best season to Visit Nepal as its a winter time  & April, May also a peak season as there are school vacations in India .

Gorakhpur -Lumbini-Chitwan being in plain area (Tarai Region) weather gets very hot in summer but Kathmandu & Pokhara remain in the average of 30 dc at day time & at night dips to 20 Degree .

There will be approx. 800m walk at Muktinath half of that would be simple walk & remaining would be uphill walk .Those who cant walk can hire a horse or Porter on their own .

Arrival & Aarti at Pashupatinath
Upon the arrival you will be met by our representative and taken to your hotel. Before you check in to hotel you will be briefed about your tour program , in the evening you will be taken for aarati at pashupatinath temple , Return to Hotel & overnight stay at hotel.

Transfer To Pokhara(7Hrs Drive)
After Breakfast Will Transfer to Pokhara on the way visit Manokamana temple (Optional) .Evening enjoy at lakeside area .Overnight at hotel.

Transfer Pokhara to Jomsom (9hrs)
After early breakfast at 07:00 am transfer to Jomsom which is a gateway to muktinath & takes around  9  hrs to reach. Overnight at hotel in Jomsom.

Transfer Muktinath to Pokhara
Early in the morning  at around 5 am transfer to Muktinath for  darshan which 45 min drive & need to walk for 30 minutes to reach main temple ,if one cant walk then a pony can be hired there at own expanses  & After breakfast return to pokhara, overnight at pokhara hotel.

Pokhara City Tour & Transfer to Kathmandu
Early In The Morning around 05:30 Am You Will Be Taken To Sarangkot (25Min Drive) From Where You Can Enjoy The Sun Rise then Return To Hotel .After Breakfast check out your hotel &  Proceed For Half Day City Tour Of Pokhara Which Will Cover Davis Fall, Gupteshwor Mahadev ,Fewa Lake,Tal barahi , Bindabasini temple & then transfer to Kathmandu ,reach kathamndu hotel &  Overnight at hotel.

Kathmandu Pilgrimage (7hrs)
Today, after breakfast your pilgrimage starts with the darshan of  Pashupatinath & after that we will visit nearby Guheswori mandir which is one of the 51 shaktee peeth . After lunch we will continue our yatra to Jalnarayan & Kathmandu Durbar square . in the evening return to Hotel ,overnight stay .
